Predicting Infections in Transplant Patients: Cellular Immune Assays for Tuberculosis and CMV

This program is intended for physicians, scientists, nurses, microbiologists, and pharmacists who are interested in the clinical and research aspects of microbiology and its applications in solid organ and tissue transplantation. It reviews the importance of screening for TB in transplant patients and explores the use of cellular immune assays to identify patients at risk of developing CMV post-transplant. Clinical case studies are presented to discuss the use of this information as part of a patient's overall clinical picture.
